Brian bought his first car when he was 15, and thus began a lifelong love of all things automotive. His interests range from autocross and road racing, to jeeps and 4x4s, to classic cars and hot rods. As shop manager, you usually see Brian “driving a desk”, as he jokes, but his passion is fabricating, and he has built several vehicles for himself. Brian graduated Plymouth State College with a degree in management, and has been in the transportation/equipment and automotive industry his entire career. When the opportunity came up to work at a well respected shop right in downtown Plymouth, he jumped on it.
KTM Auto founder and owner Kevin Maass has always been fascinated with anything mechanical. His education began one day when he was eight years old and his Honda XR80 dirt bike wouldn’t start. Using tools and some guidance from his father, he tore down his very first engine, learned what broke, and rebuilt it successfully. From there, through St. Francis college and an intensive two year NYS/EPA Automotive Certification program, Kevin was constantly learning- not just how to repair vehicles, but how they work and why they break; and the importance of preventative maintenance. After a stint in Oregon, Kevin moved to New Hampshire in 1998. In 2002 Kevin purchased what was originally the Titus Oil Building in Railroad Square, Plymouth and founded KTM Auto.
